Incred RFB vs Scotty Cameron
If your main miss is off the center of the face, the Incred RFB® is built for that problem. In our robot test the Incred RFB held heel face twist to 0.13° against a 0.52° average for a best-selling field that included a Scotty Cameron Phantom 5. Both cost $549 at the entry point.
Stability from a high-MOI mallet
Scotty Cameron describes the Phantom line as high-MOI, perimeter-weighted mallets. The Phantom 5 is near-face balanced, with a full-face Studio Carbon Steel insert and adjustable sole weights.
Face twist at off-center impact
Reverse Face Balanced® puts the center of gravity in front of the shaft, so the head rests face-down. That forward weight meets off-center impact torque with counter-rotation. It is the fourth way to balance a putter, after face-balanced, toe hang and toe-up.
Most golfers miss the center of the face. The robot measured what happens next.
Face twist on a heel mishit
heel mishit, robot-struck
The Phantom 5 was one of the best-selling putters in the field, alongside TaylorMade, Odyssey and Ping models. The published result is the field average. We do not publish a separate figure for the Phantom 5.
Method: gravity-driven robot, controlled 8 mph, struck on the center, heel and toe. Quintic Ball Roll capture in independent robotic testing.

Two ways to steady the head
Both designs add stability on mishits. They place the weight in different places.
Weight at the edges
The Phantom spreads mass toward the heel and toe, which raises moment of inertia. Scotty Cameron says this helps preserve ball speed and direction on off-center strikes. The neck options set how much the toe swings open and closed through the stroke.
Weight in front of the shaft
A strike away from the sweet spot twists the head. Reverse Face Balanced® sets the center of gravity in front of the shaft, and the forward mass creates counter-rotation that reduces face twist. The robot measured the result at 0.13°.

Start with your miss
A broad range of classic blades and mallets
The Phantom and Studio Style lines cover blades and mallets in many neck options, through Titleist retailers. Scotty Cameron is the reference brand in premium putters and belongs on your shortlist.
Striking off the center of the face
In the robot test, face-down balance held heel twist to 0.13° and kept 99% of ball speed. Expect three to five putts before the stroke feels natural.
Custom, Premium and Bespoke putters are built to one player's specifications: you choose the head, length, lie angle, head weight, face material, shaft and grip. Stock SK1 and Black Mallet putters are already built, with length and lie chosen at order. Each putter takes 8 to 12 hours of machining and 3 to 4 hours of hand building and balancing.

Frequently asked
What did the robot test measure for Incred and the field that included the Phantom 5?
In the same independent robot test, the Incred RFB held face twist to 0.13 degrees on heel mishits. The best-selling field, which included a Scotty Cameron Phantom 5, averaged 0.52 degrees.
How does the Incred price compare with Scotty Cameron?
Both start at $549. Incred Stock is $549, Custom $799, Premium $999 and Bespoke $1,999. Scotty Cameron Phantom putters list at $549 on Titleist.com, Studio Style at $499 to $549, and the limited Phantom OC Spec III at $800.
Can I get an Incred putter fitted to my length and lie?
Yes. Custom, Premium and Bespoke putters are built to order. On a regular custom build you choose length from 31 to 38 inches, lie from 67 to 73 degrees or 76 and 79 degrees, and head weight from 350 to 420 grams. Loft is built to the standard 3 degrees.
Does Incred make left-handed putters?
Left-handed Incred putters are built at the Bespoke level, $1,999. Scotty Cameron offers left-handed versions of select Phantom models.
How long does an Incred putter take to arrive?
Every Incred putter, including Stock, ships in 10-15 days.
What is Reverse Face Balanced?
Reverse Face Balanced® puts the center of gravity in front of the shaft, so the putter rests face-down. The forward weight resists the head twisting when you strike the ball off center. It is protected by a granted U.S. patent.
