Incred RFB vs Bettinardi
Bettinardi mills toe-hang and zero-torque putters from 303 stainless steel, from $450 to $550. The Incred RFB® balances face-down, which targets off-center strikes, and is built to your length, lie and head weight from $799, or $549 for a Stock SK1 or Black Mallet.
Blades, mallets and zero torque
The BB Series and Queen B cover traditional blades and mallets. The Antidote SB models use what Bettinardi calls Simply Balanced™ zero torque, which lines up the shaft with the head's center of gravity to keep the face square.
Face twist at off-center impact
Reverse Face Balanced® puts the center of gravity in front of the shaft, so the head rests face-down. That forward weight meets off-center impact torque with counter-rotation.
Most golfers miss the center of the face. Face-down balance is built for that miss.
Face twist on a heel mishit
heel mishit, robot-struck
No Bettinardi model was in this test. The field was TaylorMade, Odyssey, Scotty Cameron, Ping and LAB Golf models.
Method: gravity-driven robot, controlled 8 mph, struck on the center, heel and toe. Quintic Ball Roll capture in independent robotic testing.

How the balance types differ
Putters balance face-up, toe-down or toe-up. Reverse Face Balanced® adds a fourth: face-down.
Zero torque and high MOI
Bettinardi's Antidote SB line lines up the shaft with the center of gravity to keep the face square through the stroke. The Hexperimental mallets use high MOI to resist twisting on off-center strikes. Face milling patterns such as VDF and F.I.T. Face set feel and roll.
Weight in front of the shaft
A strike away from the sweet spot twists the head. Reverse Face Balanced® sets the center of gravity in front of the shaft, and the forward mass creates counter-rotation that reduces face twist. The robot measured the result at 0.13°.

Start with your miss
A milled classic you can try in a shop
Bettinardi has a deep range of blades and mallets, left-handed models from $450, and a fitting studio near Chicago. Its BB and Antidote putters are milled in the U.S.A.
Striking off the center of the face
Face-down balance held heel twist to 0.13° and kept 99% of ball speed in robot testing. Expect three to five putts before the stroke feels natural.
Custom, Premium and Bespoke putters are built to one player's specifications: you choose the head, length, lie angle, head weight, face material, shaft and grip. Stock SK1 and Black Mallet putters are already built, with length and lie chosen at order. Each putter takes 8 to 12 hours of machining and 3 to 4 hours of hand building and balancing.

Frequently asked
What is the difference between Incred and Bettinardi putters?
Bettinardi mills toe-hang and zero-torque putters from 303 stainless steel. The Incred RFB balances face-down, with the center of gravity in front of the shaft, to resist face twist on off-center strikes.
Was Bettinardi part of the Incred robot test?
No Bettinardi model was in it. The field was TaylorMade, Odyssey, Scotty Cameron, Ping and LAB Golf models. Against that field, the Incred RFB held heel face twist to 0.13 degrees against a 0.52 degree average.
Is Bettinardi's Antidote the same as Reverse Face Balanced?
They are different designs. Bettinardi describes the Antidote SB as zero torque, with the shaft lined up with the center of gravity. Reverse Face Balanced puts the center of gravity in front of the shaft, so the putter rests face-down.
How do Incred and Bettinardi prices compare?
Bettinardi production putters list at $450 to $550, Workshop builds at $475 to $835, and custom designs from $3,000. Incred is $549 Stock, $799 Custom, $999 Premium and $1,999 Bespoke.
How long does each brand take to ship a custom putter?
Every Incred putter ships in 10-15 days. Bettinardi lists 8 to 12 weeks for a Workshop putter and 10 to 14 weeks for a custom design.
Does Incred make left-handed putters?
Left-handed Incred putters are built at the Bespoke level, $1,999. Bettinardi lists five left-handed models from $450 to $550.
